What do you pray for? (Great Prayers in the Bible)
9/30/2012, Seminary Intern Dale Ambler
"What do you pray for?" This is the question I hear asked of my sermon text this week from Ephesians 3:14-21. Prayer is at the heart of worship, both individually and corporately. In prayer, through the Holy Spirit, people seek after and are found by the one true God who has been revealed in Jesus Christ. Come and learn insights from Paul’s great prayer.

This is the second week in the "Great Prayers of The Bible" sermon series. Last week was an introduction. The sermon title for this Sunday is "A Discerning Prayer." The sermon texts are I Kings 3:3-15, I Kings 8:22-40, and Romans 11:33-36, 12:1-2. In prayer we bow before the Lord, celebrate the greatness of God, and humbly ask for God's guidance, forgiveness, and strength.
Run the Race of Faith
9/09/2012, Sr. Pastor Craig Herr
This Sunday I am preaching on "Run The Race of Faith" using the scriptures of I Corinthians 9:24-27 and Hebrews 12:1-4. We can all run in the race of faith as one of Christ's beloved disciples. We will think about how to run well. This is an introduction to a new fall sermon series, "Great Prayers of The Bible."
Can these bones live?
9/02/2012, Seminary Intern Dale Ambler
“Son of Man, can these bones live?” this question comes from God to Ezekiel in Ezekiel 37:1-14, my sermon text this week. What did God mean by this question? How did Ezekiel respond?
8/26/2012, Sr. Pastor Craig Herr
The sermon texts are Psalm 49:1-9, 16 and Luke 18:9-14. Jim Collins, from extensive research, and in his writing indicates that humility is a key characteristic of the best leaders. We see the humil-ity of Jesus in visiting earth to be born as a baby and then growing up to die on the cross for the sins of all of the world. Humility is part of being a servant of Jesus Christ.
